The World Games Nepal Committee has officially launched a nationwide Talent Identification Program aimed at discovering and nurturing young athletes with the potential to represent Nepal on the international stage.
The program will be conducted across all seven provinces and will focus on sports recognized by the International World Games Association (IWGA). Athletes will undergo physical assessments, technical evaluations, and specialized training sessions conducted by national and international experts.
Committee President stated that Nepal possesses immense sporting potential that remains untapped, particularly in emerging sports. The initiative seeks to provide opportunities to talented youth regardless of their geographical location or economic background.
Selected athletes will be enrolled in long-term development pathways, receive professional coaching, and gain access to international exposure programs.
The program reflects Nepal’s commitment to strengthening its presence in future editions of the World Games and other major international sporting events.
